Cruise the Strip above the Streets in Air-Conditioned Comfort

While others are sitting in traffic or walking the Strip in the sweltering heat, you’re cruising above it all on the sleek, state-of-the-art Las Vegas Monorail.  Winding its way effortlessly through the city to stations amidst all the best shopping, dining and attractions, the Monorail takes you where you want to go in air-conditioned comfort – even when it’s 120-degrees outside. Below are some tips from LVM for surviving the summer heat in style:
  • It’s hot out there – dress appropriately. Loose-fitting, lightweight clothing, dark sunglasses, a lightweight hat and sunscreen will definitely help you beat the heat.
  • Drink plenty of water and bring some with you. There’s nothing worse than losing your cool while dealing with the summer heat. All Monorail stations have vending machines that sell bottled water and Monster energy drinks to help keep you hydrated.
  • Plan your trip wisely. Try to avoid the high-noon sun by planning trips in the morning and evening.
