LAS VEGAS MONORAIL OPENS AT 4 A.M. TO SUPPORT THE ROCK ‘N’ ROLL LAS VEGAS MARATHON & ˝ MARATHON
On Dec. 6, 2009, the more than 25,000 runners won’t be the only ones running early on the Las Vegas Strip. The Las Vegas Monorail will open early on Dec. 6, to help move visitors and spectators along Las Vegas Boulevard South, which will be closed that morning to accommodate the start of the race.

BRUCE L. WOODBURY NAMED TO LAS VEGAS MONORAIL COMPANY BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Former Clark County Commissioner Bruce L. Woodbury has been appointed to the Las Vegas Monorail Company’s Board of Directors. Woodbury will serve as a member of the board effective February 2, 2009 and will continue his work to further enhance transportation options benefiting Southern Nevada.
