2022 VNEA World Championships in Las Vegas

The 42nd annual VNEA World Pool Championship is coming to Las Vegas from Thursday, May 26th, 2022, through Saturday, June 4th, 2022. The event will be held at the Westgate Las Vegas and features a week of incredible events and giveaways. This year’s VNEA World Pool Championship in Las Vegas will be the largest tournament venue we’ve ever had, with over 300 Valley pool tables set up. 

The 2022 VNEA World Pool Championship in Las Vegas will feature an opening ceremony celebration complete with free beer, soda, and snacks, a worldwide parade of flags, and giveaways. Throughout the championship week, there will also be daily giveaways of prizes including poolside cabanas, Aramith Ball sets, show tickets, buckets of beer, and more. 

The VNEA Pro Player Representative for this year’s World Pool Championship in Las Vegas is Shane VanBoening. All skill levels are welcome for this year’s event. The event also includes a player’s lounge inside the tournament room, complete with a bartender. 

This year’s 42d annual VNEA World Pool Championship will conclude with an awards banquet celebration finale with more big giveaways including tons of cash, a Valley Home pool table, Cue sticks, entertainment, and much more.

2022 VNEA World Championship Las Vegas Location 

This year’s 42nd annual VNEA World Pool Championship will be held at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort Hotel & Casino. The Westgate in Las Vegas offers more than 100,000 square feet of event space, allowing for over 300 pool tables to be used for the week, including a separate area designated just for practice. 

2022 VNEA World Pool Championship Las Vegas Transportation and Parking

The Westgate Las Vegas features a complimentary shuttle service that goes to downtown Las Vegas as well as to the Las Vegas Strip. The Westgate also features complimentary parking for those with cars. Additionally, the Las Vegas Monorail stops at the Westgate, providing access to the Las Vegas Strip with a short ride direct from the Westgate. For this year’s VNEA World Pool Championship, the Las Vegas Monorail is offering discounted tickets for championship attendees. 

With higher gas prices and a major holiday weekend bringing tourists to Las Vegas, the Monorail is an easy choice for fast and inexpensive transportation on the Las Vegas Strip. There are a total of seven stops on the Monorail route, with the Westgate Monorail Station being close to the North end of the Monorail route. 

Monorail trains arrive every 4-8 minutes at each monorail station and can transport travelers from one end of the Las Vegas Strip to the other in approximately 15 minutes or less. The Monorail in Las Vegas is a 100% electric tram, providing efficient and reliable transportation for thousands of guests annually. Monorail trains are capable of carrying a maximum of 222 passengers – seating for 72 passengers and standing room for another 150 passengers. 

Las Vegas Monorail Hours and Tickets 

The Las Vegas Monorail opens daily at 7 a.m. and closes at midnight on Mondays, closes at 2 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and closes at 3 a.m. Friday through Sunday.
