If you’re still looking for a place to spend New Year’s Eve, you’d better hurry! Las Vegas is known as The Entertainment Capital of the World and it’s likely these event tickets won’t last. Need some celebration inspiration? Here’s a list of Las Vegas NYE events to help you ring in 2022.

New Year’s Eve Events 

Party in Paradise at the Margaritaville New Year’s Eve Party 

Couldn’t swing an island getaway this year? Ring in the new year at Margaritaville Las Vegas. Located right across from Caesars Palace, Margaritaville is a great place to view the iconic Las Vegas Strip and one of Vegas’ many end-of-year fireworks displays. Second and third-floor tickets (with a view of the fireworks) are $199 per person; main floor tickets are $99 per person. 

Each ticket package includes three hours at the bar, live music, and a champagne toast at midnight. Food will also be available for purchase, however, it is not included in either NYE party package. If you have questions, please call (702) 697-2512.

Hard Rock Cafe New Year’s Eve Party 

Party like a rock star on NYE at Hard Rock Live Las Vegas located inside Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas Strip. Enjoy live entertainment, an open bar, party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight. There’ll also be small bites, including a selection of appetizers, set up at various food stations set up throughout the venue. Tickets are $195 per person. Location: Hard Rock Live Las Vegas 

Evening at the Ice Rink NYE Party 

Experience NYE on the ice at The Ice Rink located at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. At 9 p.m., The Cosmopolitian invites you to come and celebrate the new year at the only rooftop ice rink in Vegas. One ticket will get you a three-hour open bar and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are $200 per person and include skate rentals. If you have questions, please call (702) 698-7000.

New Year’s Eve Concerts 

Usher: The Las Vegas Residency

Maroon 5 

If you’re in the mood to hear some pop-rock on NYE, head over to The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan to see the multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award-winning band Maroon 5. They’re set to perform on Thursday, December 30, and Friday, December 31st. Tickets start at $50 and can be purchased through The Cosmopolitan website. 

Bruno Mars 

Spend NYE grooving to the music of 27-time GRAMMY Award-nominee and 11-time GRAMMY Award-winner Bruno Mars. Mars will be performing at Dolby Live at Park MGM Las Vegas on December 17, 18, 30, and 31st. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m.

On December 31, 2021, global pop star and singer-songwriter, Katy Perry will be performing at the Resorts World Theatre. Important Things to Consider

Before you put on those dancing shoes, here are a few pointers to help ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve:

Road Closures

Road closures will begin as early as 4:00 pm on New Year’s Eve and continue until 4:00 am on New Year’s Day. With road closures in place and more than 300,000 visitors along the Strip, the Las Vegas Monorail is the best way to travel along the Strip.

Plan ahead

Book spots at your chosen destinations in advance, and arrive as early as possible. If you want to be at a particular place in time for the midnight fireworks, get there by 11:00 pm. Otherwise, you could be stuck waiting outside when the clock strikes twelve.

Bundle up

It’s winter in the desert, and the temperatures will drop significantly once the sun goes down. Dress in warm layers—you can always shed a few at the club if they get to be too much.

Are our feet killing you after ringing in the new year? Not to worry! You can find Rollasole vending machines at Harrah’s/LINQ Station and the MGM Grand Station.

Be prepared for crowds

It’s hard to wrap your head around the number of people who will be packed into the streets along the Strip and the downtown area but be forewarned that it will be exceedingly difficult to make your way around if you’re driving. The Las Vegas Monorail is here to help make travel along the Las Vegas Strip as easy as possible.

Transportation for New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas

With most of the best New Year’s Eve parties taking place along the Las Vegas Strip, you can avoid crowds, traffic, and expensive parking by using the monorail this year. Remember that the Strip will be closed to traffic and the number of pedestrians will be exceptionally high on that night.
