New Year’s Eve Hours of Operation
That Las Vegas Monorail will be open continuously through New Year’s Eve and into New Year’s Day to make traveling along the Las Vegas Strip easy, convenient and fast. We will be open on December 31, 2017, starting at 7 a.m. and will remain open until until 2 a.m. on January 2, 2018. That’s 43 straight hours of ringing in the New Year!
Last year, an estimated 300,000 people gathered along the Las Vegas Strip. Seasoned party-goers know that the Las Vegas Monorail is the solution for getting to and from the festivities safely.
Road Closures on New Year’s Eve
The Las Vegas Strip shuts down to traffic again this year to throw one of the biggest NYE parties in the world! Road closures will begin at 5:00 pm on New Year’s Eve and continue until 4:00 am on New Year’s Day. With road closures in place and more than 300,000 visitors along the Strip, the Las Vegas Monorail is the best way to travel along the Strip.
