Labor Day Weekend 2018 in Las Vegas

Caesars pool in Las Vegas

If you’re looking to close out this summer in style, you can’t go wrong spending your 2018 Labor Day weekend in Las Vegas. Last year more than 330,000 people spent their Labor Day holiday in Las Vegas, and this year even more visitors are expected to join the festivities. Even though you can make spectacular memories any night of the year in Las Vegas, the city truly pulls out all the stops for Labor Day weekend. Check out the variety of events this Labor Day weekend in Sin City and get the most out of every minute.

Exodus Festival Las Vegas

After closing out three wild weekends in Sin City already, this multi-day festival will host its final Las Vegas lineup of 2018 this Labor Day weekend! The Exodus Festival is a finely curated Las Vegas music experience that will give you access to the hottest pool parties, nightclubs, and events across the Strip. This weekend doesn’t hold back with featured musical artists David Guetta, Diplo, Lil Jon, Tiesto, The Chainsmokers & more. Tickets can still be purchased online.

Rehab Beach Club at Hard Rock

It’s hard to believe that Rehab has been around for 15 years! Unofficially regarded as the original Vegas pool party, Rehab paved the way for all the poolside parties that soon followed on the Strip. With this being its last big bash, it’s safe to say Rehab will no doubt be going all out. Don’t miss your chance to experience it this Labor Day weekend by using the Horseshoe/Paris Station exit and walking a few minutes to the Hard Rock.

Cornhole Tournament at Downtown Grand

If you’re looking for casinos downtown, the rooftop Citrus Grand Pool Deck at the Downtown Grand is hosting its annual Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, September 1st at 5:00 pm. With serious money up for grabs, participants have a chance to show off their cornhole skills, possibly winning $2,500 and the title of Cornhole Champ! Drink specials will be served at the poolside bars all day to celebrate Labor

Day weekend. After exiting from the SLS monorail station, it’s just a quick 5-minute cab ride to Downtown Grand.

Influence, The POOL at The LINQ

This exclusively 21-and-over pool is the only pool party on the Strip that offers free admission to non-guests this Labor Day weekend. With a unique backyard feel and a more intimate atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to take a dip in the pool and enjoy the hottest live music in Las Vegas. This year, female DJ and Instagram star, Tori Brixx will be headlining on Saturday, September 1st, and rapper, Coolio, will take the stage on Sunday, September 2nd. Hararh’s/The LINQ station will take you directly to the pool at The LINQ Hotel & Casino.

Collective Zoo Block Party in Downtown

The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center is hosting its very first Collective Zoo Block Party this Labor Day weekend and it’s not to be missed! On Saturday, September 1st, starting at 4:00 pm, the festival-inspired event will feature sets by the most talented DJs, including Chris Lake, Walker & Royce, Golf Clap and more to keep you dancing all night. Gourmet food trucks, a beer garden hosting 20 craft breweries, and a 2,200-square-foot pool will make this a Las Vegas event to remember. Reserve a private cabana to really party in style this Labor Day.

Cabo Wabo Cantina at Miracle Mile Shops

This popular Miracle Mile restaurant will be offering drink specials, discounted beer buckets, and themed cocktails to celebrate this Labor Day weekend. Check out their unique “All-American” cocktail or special shot flights being served from Friday, August 31st through Monday, September 3rd. The Cabo Wabo patio will also feature a live DJ to keep the Labor Day fiesta going, starting at noon on Saturday and Sunday. Use the Horseshoe/Paris Station exit, then walk south on Las Vegas Blvd. for quick access to the Miracle Mile Shops.

Drai’s Nightclub at The Cromwell

If you’re more into the hip-hop scene, Drai’s has you covered. It’s located on Cromwell’s top floor (right off the monorail’s Flamingo/Caesars station). Drai’s is known to have one of the best views on the strip for nightclubs in Las Vegas. Jeremih will get the party started Friday evening, and hip-hop superstar, 2 Chainz, will be on the mic Saturday night. End Labor Day weekend with the guys featured on almost every popular rap track today, Migos, and you’ll be partying like a rock star all night.

Slow it Down with a Tour

If you’re looking to take a break from the action on the Strip this Labor Day weekend, take a great little getaway to the Hoover Dam or Lake Mead. If you’re feeling adventurous, look into Grand Canyon tours. With Hoover Dam about an hour from the Strip and the West Rim of the Grand Canyon about two hours, it’s close enough to experience during the day but still be back in Las Vegas that same evening. With daily tours and pickups directly from many hotels on the Strip, Gray Line is well-known for sightseeing tours in Las Vegas, offering multiple options for Labor Day weekend.

Fremont Street Experience

“Located in Downtown Las Vegas, the Fremont Street Experience offers a more vintage Vegas vibe when it comes to partying. Here you’ll find free live music, amazing drink specials, low-limit tables, and easy access to the downtown hotels & casinos, restaurants, and bars.

Catch a special free Labor Day concert featuring rock legend Melissa Etheridge on Friday, August 31st, at the 3rd Street stage. You can access the Fremont Street Experience by taking the monorail to the SLS station, then it’s only a few minutes by car or rideshare.”

Mariah Carey: The Butterfly Returns

Multiple Grammy Award-winning singer Mariah Carey continues her debut residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace this Labor Day weekend. Singing her greatest hits with stunning lighting effects and top-notch production, the show will have you singing along throughout the two-hour performance. Tickets can be purchased online for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights for her 8:00 pm show. To get to the Colosseum, hop off the monorail at the Flamingo/Caesars Palace station exit.

Intrigue Nightclub at Wynn

Located at the northern end of the Strip inside the Wynn, you’ll find Intrigue Nightclub. A little more intimate than some of Vegas’ big-name clubs, Intrigue’s energetic crowds and exclusive atmosphere always deliver a good time. Friday, August 31st, features Dillion Francis at the decks, with Alesso spinning on Saturday night, September 1st. You can access the Wynn by using either the Harrah’s/The Linq or Boingo Station at Las Vegas Convention Center exits.

Labor Day Weekend Luau at Wet‘n’Wild

If you’re looking for something a little different and off the Strip, Wet‘n’Wild is a top destination for both visitors and locals alike. This year, Wet‘n’Wild is hosting a Labor Day Luau on Saturday, September 1st, which is the perfect way for families to celebrate the long weekend in Las Vegas. Purchase a season pass or admission tickets to enjoy the Polynesian buffet, performances at the Wave Pool Stage, and access to all the Wet‘n’Wild pools, slides, and attractions. The water park is just a quick 20-minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip.

Whether you’re looking to lounge by the pool or rage at the nightclubs, Las Vegas has some of the best options for Labor Day. The best part is that there is no need for a car, as many of the hottest events can be easily accessed using the Las Vegas Monorail. Stay safe, leave the hassle behind, and save $5 by purchasing a two-day, three-day, or unlimited ride pass this Labor Day weekend.
