The Las Vegas Arena, a joint venture between AEG and MGM Resorts, will be a state of the art 20,000 seat sports and entertainment area. This $350 million project broke ground in May 2014 and is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2016. The arena will feature top billing music artists, boxing, UFC fights, and other large scale events.
As you can see by the renderings this is not an ordinary area. The modern design is not only aesthetically stunning, it is also designed to meet the U.S. Green Building Council’s standards for LEED® Gold Certification. The arena will also feature 50 luxury suites, more than two dozen private boxes and other specially designed exclusive hospitality offerings never before featured in a facility of its kind.
