If you are looking for a more relaxing evening, try one of the restaurants. Many are offering priority seating, complimentary champagne and special dishes designed specifically for that evening.

Many of the casinos are also offering special parties that last for only three or four hours. These parties include open bars with a cover charge, complimentary champagne at midnight, and the perfect viewing place for the fireworks display.

Another option for those who want to enjoy New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas is to take in a show. Many of the shows being performed that night include bonus material or special events that occur just on this special evening.

All four miles of the strip are closed to vehicles and the area is filled with pedestrians.

It is always recommended to book ahead if possible, or arrive early to get into the clubs or restaurants you want to visit. Nearly all celebrations start between 5 and 6 pm that evening, with some starting as late as 10 pm. This gives you a lot of time to move through the strip and experience as many events as you can in one evening. While Las Vegas never sleeps, most of the New Year celebrations conclude at 3 am in accordance with city ordinances. However, you are welcome to enjoy yourself in the casinos for as long as you desire.

Don’t forget to find the time to watch the fireworks display at midnight. This incredible display will be shot off from eight different hotels to create one of the most magnificent fireworks displays you will ever see in your lifetime. Many of the casinos are offering special viewing areas for the display that will come with an open bar and seating options.

Finding the perfect spot to celebrate New Year’s in Las Vegas can be difficult with so many events taking place. With road closures and extreme traffic, your best bet is to hop on the Las Vegas monorail and enjoy a little bit of everything. Don’t forget to purchase your discount tickets in advance!
