Take in all the sounds and sights of New Year’s on the Las Vegas Strip, 550 feet above everyone else. It’s the perfect way to “start 2019 on a high note”. The High Roller, located at the east end of the Linq Promenade, is the world’s largest observation wheel! VIP High Roller packages include a spectacular view of the midnight fireworks, open bar and champagne toast on board and a VIP Pre Party with open bar and catering.

Throwback before we look forward. Join guests at The Foundry inside the SLS Las Vegas for a retro bash to ring in the New Year. Celebrate all night at a Las Vegas Nightclub

There are two ways to join the party on New Year’s Eve–purchase a ticket in advance or make a reservation for bottle services. Either way, there are plenty of options! Just remember that many of the clubs will have an “arrive by” time, meaning if you’re not there, you might not get in later. Watch the clock, 2019 will be here before you know it.

Road Closures for New Year’s Eve in Vegas

Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip) is subject to closure to vehicular traffic by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, south of SAHARA and north of Sunset Avenues from approximately 6:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m.

Security Information and Tips

Glass container (that means champagne!) will not be permitted on the Las Vegas Strip. Many places will not sell beverages in glass bottles during this time–be sure to plan accordingly!

Large bags, backpacks, coolers or strollers on Las Vegas Boulevard will not be permitted. Bags cannot be larger than 12” x 6” x12”, so leave your suitcase in the room.

Most hotels and resorts will require that you show your room key beginning as early as 9 pm for re-entry into the property. Be sure that everyone in your party has a room key.

Transportation for New Year’s Eve in Vegas

Coming from California or driving? Parking garages will likely fill up by early evening–that means no last-minute runs off-Strip. Road closures will begin at 5:00 pm and not begin reopening until 3:30 am.  With over 400,000 guests at the biggest NYE celebration, we’re bound to have some extra traffic so leave early and plan ahead!

Rideshares will not be able to drop off guests at their hotel beginning at 6:00 pm. There will not be ANY rideshare pick up services during The Strip closures.
