The annual World Series of Poker is a stable event in Las Vegas. It has been held annually in the city since it began in 1970. The inaugural event was hosted at Benny Binion’s downtown casino. In 2005, it moved to the Rio for 17 years. In 2022, the annual tournament relocated to the Horseshoe, ideally located on the Vegas Strip.
This year’s event will span almost two months of events, starting in late spring and continuing through early summer.

Where Is the World Series of Poker Las Vegas 2026?
The World Series of Poker will be held at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. Both resorts are located adjacent to one another, so you won’t miss any of the thrilling action. The WSOP is celebrating its 57th anniversary and will award 100 gold bracelets as new legends are made.
When Is the Las Vegas World Series of Poker?
The Las Vegas World Series of Poker will start on May 26 and run until July 15. The main event, the $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, will begin on July 2.

The Easiest Way To Get to WSOP Las Vegas 2026
You don’t need a car, rideshare, or taxi to get to the poker events during the WSOP. The fastest and most convenient way to get to Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas is to ride the Las Vegas Monorail.
The Monorail features seven stations along a 3.9-mile route on the Vegas Strip. One of the dedicated stops is the Horseshoe/Paris Station.

The Monorail operates seven days a week, starting at 7:00 a.m. with continuous service every four to eight minutes until these times:
- Mondays: Midnight
- Tuesdays – Thursdays: 2:00 a.m.
- Fridays – Sundays: 3:00 a.m.
Upon arrival at the Horseshoe/Paris Station, exit the station passing through the Avenue Shop and the pool and spa area, following the signs to the main casino area and WSOP events.
