Do You Have To Attend a Convention To Use the Boingo Monorail Station?
The Boingo Monorail Station is open to everyone, whether they are attending a convention or just want to hop on or off the Monorail to explore nearby attractions. Each Monorail train can accommodate up to 222 passengers. There are nine trains with four cars running on the line. So, you never have to worry about not being able to catch a train, especially during events at the Las Vegas Convention Center.ย ย
How Do You Access the Boingo Monorail Station?
The Boingo Monorail Station is located above E Desert Inn Rd and the corner of Paradise Rd. Follow the signs toward the Monorail station and the Boingo Innovation Center. You can access the station from ground level, near Paradise Rd, using the escalators or elevator to take you to the station.
How Do You Get to the Las Vegas Convention Center From the Boingo Monorail Station?
Upon arrival at the Boingo Monorail Station, follow the signs toward the stationโs exit. Once outside the station, you will be on an elevated bridge over E Desert Inn Rd. One side of the bridge will take you to the North and Central Halls, and the other side of the bridge will take you to the South Hall.ย
For the South Hall, after riding the escalator down to street level, walk across the south Silver Parking Lot to the South Hallโs entrance. For the Central and North Halls, after riding the escalator down to street level, walk across the north Silver Parking Lot toward the entrance of the desired hall.
If you need to get to the West Hall, you can enter the North Hall and use the Paradise Bridge or head to the Central Hall, go downstairs, and board a complimentary Vegas Loop vehicle.ย ย
How Do You Buy Your Tickets at the Boingo Monorail Station?
Buying tickets at the Boingo Monorail Station will require you to use one of the ticket vending machines. Boingo Station is the only station without a customer service counter. The only tickets available in the vending machines are full-fare paper tickets with these ride options:

Where Will the Las Vegas Monorail Take You From the Boingo Monorail Station?
The Las Vegas Monorail from the Boingo Monorail Station can transport you up and down the Las Vegas Strip from The STRAT and SAHARA Las Vegas on the north side of the Strip to the MGM Grand and Tropicana on the south side of the Las Vegas Strip map. The seven stations along the 3.9-mile route are:
- SAHARA Las Vegas Station
- Westgate Station
- Boingo Station at the Las Vegas Convention Center
- Harrahโs/The LINQ Station
- Flamingo/Caesars Palace Station
- Horseshoe/Paris Station
- MGM Grand Station
When entering the Boingo Monorail Station, there will be signs that tell you which side of the track is for northbound trains and southbound trains. The SAHARA Las Vegas Station and Westgate Station are north of Boingo Station, and the other stations are south of Boingo Station.ย
What Hours Does the Las Vegas Monorail Operate?
The Las Vegas Monorail operates seven days a week, including holidays, during these hours:
- Mondays: 7 a.m. – 12 a.m.
- Tuesdays – Thursdays: 7 a.m. – 2 a.m.
- Fridays – Sundays: 7 a.m. – 3 a.m.
Any operational changes will be posted at each of the stations and online.ย
How Frequent Are Monorail Trains?
The frequency of Monorail trains will vary throughout the day. The trains start running continuously starting at 7 a.m., with trains arriving at stations every four to eight minutes. Arrival times are posted at each station on video displays, so you will always know how long the wait for a train will be.ย
How Long Does It Take To Get To Other Stations?
Travel time between the different stations is fairly fast and is about two minutes between most stations. The only exception is when riding to or from the Harrahโs/The LINQ Station and the Boingo Monorail Station. This part of the track is about a four-minute ride between the two stations.ย
