Walking Directions to SAHARA Las Vegas Station

TO STATION ENTRANCE

1.) From inside the SAHARA property, follow directional signs to the Monorail. The walkway to the SAHARA Las Vegas Station is located near the Alexandria Tower.

2.) Follow directional signage and proceed to the escalator.

3.) Take the SAHARA Las Vegas Station escalator, elevator or stairs to reach level 2, Monorail ticketing and fare gates.

While there are plenty of things to do at the SAHARA Las Vegas resort, you will want to get out and explore the Vegas Strip to see popular tourist attractions, shop, dine, or see a show. Getting to other destinations on the Strip is easy when you ride the Las Vegas Monorail.

The SAHARA Las Vegas Station is at 2535 S. Las Vegas Blvd. The station is accessible from inside the SAHARA Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, with the walkway to the station near the Alexandria Tower. From the main entrance of the SAHARA, stay to the right and walk toward the back of the resort until you see Starbucks. 

The SAHARA Las Vegas Station is an elevated rail station, and looks similar to other elevated rail stations you will see along the Strip. On the left-hand side will be the entrance to the walkway to take you to the station. You can also follow the signage in the resort to the Monorail. Follow the walkway until you reach the escalator. Take the escalator or elevator up to the second level, and then use the pedestrian bridge over the Strip to reach the station. There is also an entrance to the station from the street level on Sahara Avenue and Paradise Road.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, the Monorail system is wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant. Wheelchairs, walkers, mobility scooters and motorized scooters that assist those with a disability are welcome on the Monorail! All Monorail stations have accessible elevator service. There is level boarding from the platform to all trains and space to accommodate mobility vehicles on each car. Riding with a mobility vehicle? Please place them in the locked position for the duration of the ride. Properly harnessed and trained service animals accompanying persons with disabilities are also welcome in Monorail stations and on trains.

Children five and under ride free. Children must be carried through the fare gates, and accompanied by an adult passenger who has a paid fare. Strollers are welcome! All Monorail stations have accessible elevator service. There is level boarding from the platform to all trains. The stroller must be placed in the locked position for the duration of the ride.
