March in Las Vegas: This is what you should do!

We love Las Vegas, especially in the Spring. Everyone else must agree because the event calendar is chock-full of great events and activities. We rounded up some events we’re looking forward to most. Check out the list and let us know what you’re planning on attending!

Magic in the Air

Bruno Mars is bringing his 24K Magic Tour to the Park Theatre at Monte Carlo on March 11th and 12th and it’s guaranteed to be a good time. Can’t get a hold of tickets? Don’t worry, we’ll let you in on a secret. Bruno Mars will be back in Vegas this summer to perform again, this time at the T-Mobile Arena.

Poker Face

March brings the World Series of Poker to Horseshoe Las Vegas once again The main event takes place on the 3rd-6th. Get all the details on the WSOP website. 

Lucky Sevens

Rugby fan? The HSBC Sevens World Series will be at Sam Boyd Stadium from March 3rd-5th and tickets start at just $31 each.

Larger Than Life

Everyone’s favorite Boy Band is back (sorry ‘N Sync fans)! The Backstreet Boys start their residency at Planet Hollywood starting on March 1st. Tickets are still available but you better get them now!

Make a bet on it

March Madness will be in full swing in a few weeks. It’s time for brackets and bets! The First Four start on March 14th and the Final Four games are on April 1st & 3rd. Get a head start if you plan on making a trip to Las Vegas. 2016 was a banner year for sports betting in March and the Strip is bound to be busy! The first weekend of March Madness is also St Partick’s Day weekend so hotel rooms and bars are sure to be packed.

Pot of Gold

St. Patrick’s Day honors the patron saint by the same name and celebrates Irish culture. Don’t forget to wear green! We’re always green at the Monorail, but mostly because we are completely electric and run zero emissions trains. On the 17th, we’ll add some shamrocks to the mix. What to celebrate in an Irish Bar? Our pick is O’Sheas at the Linq Promenade. Plus, check out what’s planned for the weekend.

Need for Speed

NASCAR comes to LAs Vegas again this year on March 10the-12th. The Kobalt 400 and the Boyd Gaming 300 will both take place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Plus, you can get a sneak peak at some of the cars as they make their way along the Strip. The NASCAR Hauler starts at the welcome sign on the Las Vegas Strip on Thursday the 9th at 6:00 pm.

Party for a Good Cause

The Academy of Country is bringing country music to the Stip again this year but with a twist! The Party for a Cause will take place from March 30th-April 1st at several venues along the Strip. The events will raise money for ACM Lifting Lives which improves the lives of people through music. Check out the full list of events and performers on their website.

Conference Crown

On March 8th – 11th the 2017 PAC-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held at the T-Mobile Arena. Single session tickets are still available but are expected to sell out soon.
