Summer in Las Vegas: 3-Day Las Vegas Itinerary

Planning your Summer Itinerary for Las Vegas

So, you’ve decided that a three-day weekend in Las Vegas is much needed. Perhaps this is your first time in Las Vegas, or even if you’re a regular, we can all use some help planning the ideal itinerary. To make things a cinch for you, we’ve created a sample summer itinerary with options to suit everyone.

Day One in Las Vegas: Friday Afternoon/Evening Arrival

Depending on where you’re coming from, you’ll want to consider how long it will take you to get into Las Vegas. If you’re meeting a group, chances are you’ll be coming from different places. Use your first afternoon or evening as a chance to get settled in, get the lay of the land, and prep for your 3-day weekend!

Where to stay in Las Vegas

Looking for the perfect hotel to compliment your summer Las Vegas itinerary? We think you can’t go wrong with the SAHARA Las Vegas. They masterfully combined the modern aesthetic we all love with an appreciation for the rich history of Las Vegas. The SAHARA Las Vegas is located nearest the most northern stop of the Las Vegas Monorail, which gives you access to the entire Strip in just minutes. Dine, play, and relax at the SAHARA Las Vegas, but explore all the other things Las Vegas has to offer.

Day Two in Las Vegas: Saturday Summer

Brunch at the Paris Las Vegas

Mon Ami Gabi: We love Mon Ami Gabi for brunch, especially when you choose to enjoy it al fresco. The restaurant is perched right alongside the Las Vegas Strip and just below the Eiffel Tower. Settle in for a sophisticated, indulgent, and overall delightful brunch. Did we mention they offer french fries or steak frites for breakfast?

Pool Time at SAHARA Las Vegas

Chicest: The pools at SAHARA Las Vegas is resort-style and open from 9 am to 7 pm daily.

Most glamorous: The Retro Pool Lounge at SAHARA Las Vegas is more intimate than the Foxtail Pool. This is the place if you’re looking for an escape and privacy.

Adults only: Lastly, the Alexandria Pool has sensational views. Alexandria Pool is open from 9 am to 7 pm daily, and cabanas are available for rent. This pool is 21+, and there is a bar on the pool deck.

Refresh & Relax in the Room

All that sun and fun! This is your chance to rest up for the rest of the evening and to enjoy that gorgeous hotel room.

Happy Hour, Vegas Style

The Barrymore: The Barrymore effortlessly combines classic Vegas with contemporary glamour. You’ll find it at 99 Convention Center Dr, just steps from the Las Vegas Convention Center Station. Their social hour is every day from 5 to 7 p.m. in the bar, lounge, and on the patio. If the weather is good, go with the patio because it’s gorgeous!

Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House: Head here to celebrate everything exceptional about fine dining in Vegas. You will not find the same level of culinary expertise on any other happy hour menu. There are two happy hours each day: from 3-6 pm and 9:30 pm to close.

Saturday Night Dinner & Show in Las Vegas

Once Las Vegas at The Palazzo: You will love the rustic, inviting dining room of the Palazzo’s Once restaurant. Chef Ricardo Zarate’s food celebrates the best of Peruvian cuisine. “Once (on-seh), which means ’11’ in Spanish and symbolizes Ricardo Zarate’s spot in his line of 13 siblings, is inspired by the food of his native Peru.” Try one of the eleven signature dishes while you’re there!

Harvest by Roy Ellamar: Do you love a farm to table concept? Harvest, inside the Bellagio, is a mecca for sustainable, farm-to-table dining. Roy Ellamar has been an advocate for local agriculture and sustainably produced proteins over his entire career. Those principles are beautifully showcased in his Las Vegas restaurant.

Day Three in Las Vegas: Sunday So Long to Las Vegas

Start the Recovery Process

Grab a hearty breakfast (we recommend these fantastic breakfast places) and then head out to:

REVIV at MGM Grand: If you require some serious support after a weekend of indulging, head over to REVIV at the MGM Grand. IV therapies can help you recover from dehydration, hangovers, general illness, and exhaustion. REVIV is open from 9 am to 10 pm every day. Appointments are preferred, of course, but they do welcome walk-ins as well. You can find REVIV just outside out MGM Grand Station. We’re sure you’ll be grateful for the ride (and short walk).

Pressed Juicery: Located inside the Aria Resort & Casino, Pressed Juicery offers a wide variety of juices. After a weekend in Las Vegas, your body is likely looking for some plant-based nutrients.

Sunday Spa Day in Las Vegas

Spa at The LINQ: We love the Spa at The LINQ for its Himalayan salt therapy cave. Salt caves have been used for centuries to support health naturally. The negatively charged ions in salt improve our health and mood, making it a perfect place at the end of your trip!

Canyon Ranch Spa Club at The Venetian: This wellness center focuses both on spa treatments and other health-centered therapies. Take a few hours to explore over 134,000 square feet of rejuvenating options, including acupuncture, reiki, and reflexology. You will also find a Finnish Sauna, Herbal Laconium, a Hydro Spa, three Arctic Mist experiences, and a relaxation room. Take advantage of all these options with one of their day passes.
