Vegas Tejano Takeover 2022 is coming to Las Vegas July 7-10, 2022. As the premier gathering of Conjunto and Tejano music fans, this event brings together music fans from across the country for a four-day musical event. This year’s event is presented by the popular Latino producer, INGEÑUITY. Vegas Tejano Music Takeover will be held at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
The event will bring together over 8,000 fans, industry members, and artists for an unforgettable four days of music and entertainment. This year marks the 18th year of the Vegas Tejano National Convention. The event “is the meeting ground advancing Tex-Mex and Conjunto music by providing a forum for industry-wide dialogue, promotion of the cultural music legacy and cultivation of the next generation of artists and fans,” according to the Vegas Tejano National Convention website.
This year’s Vegas Tejano Music Takeover features the Gran Baile with numerous Tejano music superstars performing popular songs while thousands dance on a Texas-sized dance floor. During the day, the TEJANO AMERICA FANFEST EXPO will serve as the daytime hub for family-friendly activities including four different stages of live, nonstop musical performances, fashion shows, fan sessions, dance competitions, and music master classes.
Music fans and Tejano Music Takeover attendees will have the ability to shop at over 60 artist and merchandise booths and meet their favorite performers. Additionally, there will be two large pool parties complete with Tequila and food that will kick off this year’s Vegas Tejano Music Week. Also of note is the inaugural SqueezeBox Ultra Music Bash which will be “the first Vegas hosted Conjunto fest,” according to the Tejano Tejano National Convention website.
The Vegas Tejano Music Week 2022 is a large part of the cultural movement of thousands who gather in person, and millions who gather online, to celebrate each year. Together, the cultural celebration represents over 25 states and over 425 cities. The Vegas Tejano Takeover is a culmination of ideas, starting in 2004, to bring together music artists and fans, with a “commitment to preserve and enhance the growth, viability and visibility of this treasured American-made music genre!”

With this year’s Vegas Tejano Music Takeover being held at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, there are a variety of transportation options available for those in attendance. Whether staying at another hotel along the Las Vegas Strip, or simply leaving the Westgate for a dinner or night out on the Strip, there are great transportation options available.
Transportation options include taxis, rideshare options like Uber and Lyft, as well as the Las Vegas Monorail – arguably one of the easiest and fastest modes of transportation along the Las Vegas Strip. Las Vegas Monorail Hours and Tickets
The Las Vegas Monorail opens daily at 7 a.m. and closes at midnight on Mondays, closes at 2 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and closes at 3 a.m. Friday through Sunday.
