Where Is the Westgate Monorail Station Located?

The Westgate Monorail Station is attached to the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. From the main lobby, exit out of the main entrance and turn right. Walk along the sidewalk and enter where you see the Monorail Station Entrance sign. 

Scan your mobile or paper Monorail ticket at the entry turnstile. After passing through the turnstile, use the elevator on the left to ride up to the platform, or use the escalator. Once on the boarding platform upstairs, follow the signs for the southbound or northbound boarding areas. 

How Do You Buy Tickets at the Westgate Monorail Station?

You can purchase tickets at the Westgate Monorail Station at the customer service desk, or from one of the available vending machines inside the station. The customer service desk is located before the Monorail exit and entrance. Ticket vending machines are located just before the entrance turnstiles. You can use cash, a debit card, or a credit card, at the customer service desk or ticket vending machines. 

To purchase tickets from a vending machine, select from the available ticketing options:

  • Single ride tickets
  • Unlimited 24-hour pass
  • Unlimited three-day pass

Choose the number of tickets you need, and then pay full price for the tickets. 

The customer service desk, which is open daily from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., offers additional multi-day ticket types at full price. 

However, you can purchase discounted tickets online in advance from home, or after arriving in Las Vegas, but before riding the Monorail, to have access to a broader range of ticketing options. 

How Much Are Westgate Monorail Station Tickets?

The cost for Westgate Monorail Station tickets will be full price if purchased from a vending machine or the customer service desk, or discounted if you purchase your tickets in advance.

If you want discounted prices, you need to buy your Monorail tickets online. 

Please note that there is no customer service desk at the Boingo Station at the Las Vegas Convention Center, but only ticket vending machines.

Do I Have To Purchase Monorail Tickets at the Westgate Monorail Station?

No, you can purchase Las Vegas Monorail tickets online or at any of the other stations. Monorail unlimited ride tickets are valid at any station along the Monorail route, regardless of where they were purchased. However, single-ride tickets are only valid for one ride from one station to another.  

What Hours Does the Las Vegas Monorail Run?

The Las Vegas Monorail begins operations daily at 7 a.m., seven days a week, with trains running until:

  • Mondays: Midnight
  • Tuesdays – Thursdays: 2 a.m.
  • Fridays – Sundays: 3 a.m.

Any operation updates or changes to operating hours will be posted in each station. 

How Often Do Trains Arrive at the Westgate Monorail Station?

Usually, the Monorail trains arrive approximately every four to eight minutes, depending on how long boarding and unboarding take at each station. The current arrival times are posted at each station. 

What Is the Travel Time Between Monorail Stations?

Travel times between stations range from one and four minutes, not counting boarding and unboarding times. 

  • SAHARA Las Vegas Station: Two minutes to Westgate Station (southbound trains only)
  • Westgate Station: Two minutes northbound or southbound
  • Boingo Station at the Las Vegas Convention Center: Two minutes northbound, four minutes southbound
  • Harrah’s/The LINQ Station: Four minutes northbound, one minute southbound
  • Flamingo/Caesars Palace Station: One minute northbound, two minutes southbound
  • Horseshoe/Paris Station: Two minutes northbound or southbound
  • MGM Grand Station: Two minutes to Horseshoe/Paris Station (northbound trains only)
